The Leather Sofa Company uses the world’s highest quality leathers from Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Italy and the United States. At any given time, the company stocks 250,000 square feet of leathers in more than 120 selections of colors and finishes. All of the leathers are exclusively top and full-grain leathers from bovine cows. The average thickness of the leathers is 0.9 to 1.1 mm; however, The Leather Sofa Company also stocks leathers up to 1.4 mm thickness. All of the leathers are aniline dyed, and some of the available finishes include hand-wiped, waxed finished, shrunken grain (giving a pebbled effect), distressed and stamped.
